Trust in Mind

An early Chinese Chan (Zen) teaching poem written by Sengcan, “Trust in Mind” (Ch. “Xinxinming”) uses direct langauge to point straightforwardly at our mind beyond polarizing concepts.

Our study text is Mu Soeng’s Trust in Mind.

See our chant book for a version of the text similar to the translation in the book.

Find a translation by Dr. Dusan Pajin with notes here.

Our class will meet on Mondays: September 29, October 5, 12, & 19 at 7 – 8:15 pm.

Please register with Blythe.

One in all, all in one. If only this is realized, no more worry about your not being perfect.

The believing mind is not divided, and undivided is the believing mind.

This is where words fail, for in it there is no yesterday, no tomorrow, no today.
