Silent Meditation Gathering

12 – 12:45 pm

This meeting is an opportunity to deeply practice silence together before, during, and after the meditation period. We arrive and depart in silence. No chanting or conversation.

Please observe the following guidelines:

1. Arrive early and in silence.

Please be at your seat 5-10 minutes early to settle in. The door will be locked by noon. Please do not knock. We’ll see you next week.

2. No electronics, please.

Let’s keep the space distraction-free. Please do not bring electronic devices into the building or garden area.

3. Neutral sounds only.

Bells signal the start and end of meditation.

Refrain from talking in the building, on the porch, or in the garden.

4. Meditation starts with three bell rings and ends with one.

Leave silently and mindfully.

If you are late, please don’t knock – meditation is underway. You are welcome to join us next time if you miss the start.

Paper copies of our guidelines are on the table next to the front door.

The back ramp and door is handicapped-accessible entrance only. All others, please use the front door.
